Welcome to Sociology 316: Sociology of Families, a three-credit, senior-level course. This course introduces sociological theories and research on families with an emphasis on families in Canada. The course has been designed for students who have already taken introductory courses in sociology and who are, therefore, familiar with the basic concepts, theories, and methods of the discipline. Students are also expected to have university-level analytical and writing skills.
